Multi-agent learning for university students

Learn across cultures — in conversation.

CAIMIL places you in a small learning group with an AI facilitator and three AI peers. Introduce yourself, share ideas, debate and reflect — at your own pace, in English or Spanish.

Structured Discussion
Topic How culture shapes the classroom

    A real group dynamic

A director decides who speaks next, so peers react to each other — and to you — like a live seminar.

    Perspectives beyond your own

Each peer brings a different discipline and point of view, so every topic is seen from more than one angle.

    Read or listen

Group replies stream in as text and can be read aloud with natural neural voices.

    How it works

Three steps to your first session

    1. 01

      Choose your language and major

Pick English or Spanish and tell us what you study. Your group adapts its examples and questions to your field.

    2. 02

      Join your learning group

An AI facilitator opens the session and three AI peers join in. When it's your turn, the conversation waits for you.

    3. 03

      Discuss, then reflect

Move from sharing to debate to review. The facilitator wraps up each part with the key ideas and perspectives.

    The session

    Six phases, one guided conversation

Each phase can be practised on its own, or chained into a full session — from first hello to final reflection.

    1. 01Structured

      Introduction

Meet the facilitator and your peers. Everyone shares their name, background and what they hope to learn.

    2. 02Structured

      Structured Sharing

Take turns on a topic — learning experiences, views from your field, real cases — each with a guiding question.

    3. 03Open

      Free Sharing

Bring up projects, challenges or experiences. Peers react, relate it to their own lives and ask questions.

    4. 04Structured

      Structured Discussion

Debate a position, analyse a case or think in depth — and respond to the points others have made.

    5. 05Open

      Free Discussion

An open floor for any idea or question. Peers agree, push back and build on each other over several rounds.

    6. 06Structured

      Review

Reflect on what you learned, revisit key concepts and plan how to put them into practice.

    Your group

You're the only human in the room — on purpose.

Practise speaking up without the pressure of a crowded classroom. Every member of your group is an AI agent with its own role, personality and area of expertise.

Instructors can customise personas, topics and guiding questions for their course.

    • Facilitator

      Education · patient, encouraging

Opens each phase, keeps the conversation moving and sums up the key points.

Curious about curriculum design and how students learn best.

    • Peer · Psychology

      Analytical, empathetic

Looks at motivation, cognition and development behind every argument.

    • Peer · Technology

      Exploratory, open-minded

Brings in data, AI and new tools as another way to see the problem.

    • You

Speak when you're ready. The group listens, responds and builds on what you say.

    Under the hood

A director agent decides who speaks next

CAIMIL isn't one chatbot wearing four hats. Every member of your group is a separate agent, and a director reads the conversation to choose the most natural next speaker.

    • 01

      Scripted phases, live conversation

Each phase follows a script of turns and rounds, so every session moves from introduction to sharing, discussion and review.

    • 02

The right voice at the right time

The director favours whoever was addressed or asked a question, whose background fits the topic, or who adds a different perspective.

    • 03

      You're never skipped

Fixed rules decide when it's your turn. The group waits for your reply, then keeps streaming the conversation.

    FAQ

    Questions, answered

    Who is CAIMIL for?

University students — especially in education, social work and psychology — who want to practise discussion, perspective-taking and reflection, and the instructors who teach them.

Are the other group members real people?

No. The facilitator and peers are AI agents, each with its own role and personality. You are the only human in the group, so you can take your time and speak freely.

    Which languages are supported?

English and Spanish. You choose the language at the start of each session, and the whole group follows it.

Do I need to install anything?

No. CAIMIL runs in your web browser. Sign in with the account provided by your institution and start a session.

Can my instructor see my conversations?

Yes. Instructors use ClassInsight to review sessions and reports for students in their class, so they can give you better feedback.
